How much does it cost to repair my blind / shade?

Our general repair pricing structure is based on a 3 tier system.  $40  -  $60  -  $80

The most common and simple shades and blinds are about $40 for a typical repair.

Medium difficulty includes Top-down / Bottom-up and some of the specialty lifting systems and those are about $60 for the typical repair.

Finally, some of the more advanced repairs clock in at the $80 mark.  

​That price is by no means the top - but it hopefully gives you an idea about what to expect.  

These prices are a reference point when considering the cost effectiveness of repairing vs. replacing your blind or shade.  

That being said, most custom blinds are worth being repaired.  The cost of a custom blind replacement is usually hundreds of dollars - and the replacement may not match the other blinds or shades you have in adjacent windows.  Consider that a blind or shade is a simple piece of equipment. Your brake pads on your car have to be replaced every so often and so do the cords on your blinds. Cords wear out over time and parts can get tired or wear out from use and sun exposure.  Broken cords can render a very expensive product useless. A fresh set of cords will get you back up and running --- for a fraction of the cost of a new blind.

Ready-Made or Off-The-Shelf blinds are not designed to be repaired - so they are usually cheaper to replace.

There are many specialty lifting systems or specialty products which require some additional parts and labor and we are always happy to try and quote you those prices if you email us or text us a couple pictures of your product.

We are always very fair and honest about our pricing.  If you have a blind that is of questionable condition and perhaps ready for replacement, we will always steer you in the right direction.
